Be welcoming and respectful. Harassment, hate, threats and discrimination are not allowed.

Share useful first-hand experience and make uncertainty clear. Check current official advice and local conditions before travelling. Community posts are individual contributions, not assurances about safety, availability or service quality.

Declare any connection to a hotel, tour operator or other business you mention. Do not post unsolicited promotions, misleading recommendations or repeated advertising. Partnership enquiries belong on our Work with us page.

Keep private information private. Do not post booking documents, passport information, home addresses, personal contact details or other people’s private information.

Publish only photographs and writing that you own or have permission to share. Obtain permission from identifiable people where appropriate and credit sources.

New members’ first three posts are reviewed before appearing publicly. Use Report to flag a concern. We may edit, move, remove or hold posts and restrict accounts that breach these rules.

Use the community thoughtfully when meeting travel companions. Get to know people and make your own checks before sharing personal details or making arrangements.
